
Dear Volkswagen,
I think those scary car crash ads may have some lingering effects that you might want to consider when using product placement in the future….
While recently watching Knocked Up I was positively terrifed that whenever the characters were in Allison’s car (particulary when Allison (the lovely Katherine Heigl) was doing more talking to passengers than watching the road) that there was going to be a startling crash. Of course, everyone would remain unhurt, but the preminition of imminent danger was so strong I found myself ignoring the witty dialogue and praying everyone was wearing a seatbelt.
